- Christopher Michael Lane
- Christopher Michael Lane is the author of a book of poetry, "who is your god now?" He has been published in numerous journals such as the Owen Wister Review and Temenos. In 2003 he created the largely successful Young Voices Be Heard youth poetry program. Christopher then followed with an even greater program, the Alzheimer's Poetry Project Arizona Assignment. By graciously receiving a multitude of grants from organizations such as the Arizona Community Foundation (and three of its affiliates), Pendleton Memorial Fund, Arizona Commission on the Arts and the City of Sedona for his tireless efforts with high school students and memory care facilities, Christopher enjoys seeing art "working" in the small rural communities in Arizona. From his work with Alzheimer's residents Christopher is currently immersed in the book he feels he was brought to this earth to write, "The Sweetest Part of the Bread." In 2009 Christopher received the City of Sedona Mayor's Arts Award in the Individual category. So far, 2010 has given Christopher the Bill Desmond Writing Award for Best Non-Fiction.
